leaving Chania Airport, drive along for approx 1 km, then left at 1st
junction. Follow signs for Chania. |

turn right, passing military base on left. N.B You do not have right of
way here. Follow the road for approx 4.5 km. |

left turn to Souda, signposted Souda 7 km, take extreme caution when
crossing this road. |

Follow
winding road down to Souda (you will see Souda port on your left). At Inka
supermarket, at the traffic lights, turn right and shortly afterwards you
will see a turn to the left signposted Heralkion and Rethymnon. |

this left turn and follow the road up towards the highway continuing for
just under 1 km then follow the motorway sign for Rethymnon and join the
motorway. |

Continue to follow the highway ignoring sign-postes for Vamos then as you
see a bridge over the highway you will see a “Vamos Health Centre” sign,
turn right here off the highway. At the crossroads turn left. After
approximately 100 metres turn left at the sign “Vamos 5km” and “Vamos Health
Centre 6km”. This road will take you over the National Highway. Follow this
road for approx 6kms, using caution as it winds and bends around. |

T-junction turn right. Continue up the road into Vamos Village centre for
about 400 metres. |
